Resumen
Este artículo presenta los resultados de un estudio realizado para determinar la influencia de los rasgos asociados a la creatividad en la productividad científica de una muestra representativa de los docentes de la Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua (UACH), para determinar las relaciones entre estos dos conceptos y su nivel de mutua influencia. Se presentan los conceptos relacionados con la creatividad y se describen los rasgos asociados a la misma que emplearon para diseñar una encuesta como instrumento de recolección de datos. También se recogieron los datos bibliométricos, altmétricos y de experiencia editorial de los docentes seleccionados para cuantificar sus publicaciones e impacto, además de permitir realizar un cruce de los datos recabados de distintas fuentes, para determinar si existe o no relación entre la creatividad y la producción científica.

Among his editorial experiences, Machin-Mastromatteo is the Associate Editor for the scientific journals Information Development (SAGE) and Digital Library Perspectives (Emerald), as well as an editorial board member for The Journal of Academic Librarianship (Elsevier). He published, from 2015 to 2020, the regular column Developing Latin America in Information Development. He is a peer reviewer for 17 scientific and indexed journals within the fields of information science and education, for which he has evaluated over 200 manuscripts.
